Nothing finer than Carolina!
Nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina! To fly, or to drive? Do I choose an 11pm Charleston arrival, or beg my husband to do his afternoon conference call from the road with 3 kids in tow while blaring the movie Frozen to distract the kids from the tornado threat? Of course, the latter (He is a saint). After a long drive and a dinner stop at mom’s to drop the kids (and have an unexpected birthday party for Nora Jane), we hit the road for Charleston, SC. 139 hotels booked! No rooms. We finally found a place to sleep at the Hampton Inn in Orangeburg, where the hotel staff left us this cordial note.
We met Jeff bright and early for an on-lot shoot and a circle through Daniel Island. Another great day- the sunshine and spanish moss never disappoints!
